After class one day, the girls and I decided to explore the neighborhood we are now a part of. Famously known by tourists for the Biscuit Mill, Woodstock is also a design capital. There are so many cool shops and public art that are practically hidden. If you go in one shop, they will tell you there are three more upstairs. We found a diner in the back of two vintage shops with amazing burgers. Just be safe cautious walking around with your camera, and don't go at night time. It is most definitely the creative hub of Cape Town though and you can see it in the shops. There are local designers with workshops, so you can see jewelry or clothing being made right there. And the Biscuit Mill never fails, with amazing food and music every Saturday.
